Not only she answered immediately and we met the same day, but later, when I changed my mind about the appartment we wanted to buy, she sent many offers with a lot of details until we found what we wanted. Very professional, very good Enghish, always answering the messages, I felt confortable and I trusted I am in good hands. She also found a good lawyer to take care of everything and continued to help with internet company until we succeded to instal it, and allowed me to use her number as a Spanish contact untill I had my own Spanish number. She is great in her job, always nice and helpful with a lot of information a foreigner doesn't know. I thank her for all the work she has done for us and I would proudly recomand her to anyone who needs to buy or sell a property in Spain. More than 5 stars.
Muy buena profesional, excelente atención, amabilidad y formalidad. Totalmente recomendable.
We had a deeply concerning experience with Habitara Group (Vidal Careaga Peel) in Mijas, and feel it is our duty to warn others. In February 2026, we paid a €2,200 deposit to secure a rental property through this agency. Receipt of the funds was confirmed in writing. Following this, the agreed terms were repeatedly changed, key elements of the property were removed, and and on the agreed move-in date the agent became unreachable — leaving us scrambling to secure alternative accommodation at the last minute. The property was subsequently re-let to another tenant while our deposit was still being withheld. When we requested the return of our money, we were met with delay tactics, attempts to negotiate deductions from our own deposit, and even a proposal to “split” the funds. When we continued to pursue repayment through official channels, we were also subjected to threats involving immigration authorities. Shortly after these threats, a third-party provider contacted us unsolicited, stating they had been referred by Habitara to set up a WiFi connection. Not only were they using our personal contact details without our consent, but they were also seeking to establish our current address. This raises serious concerns about misuse of personal data, particularly given the timing of the contact in relation to the earlier threats. We have since filed a formal criminal complaint with the Spanish authorities, supported by written evidence, transaction records, and third-party communications. We have also been informed by an independent party that there are multiple prior complaints (denuncias) filed against this individual, and that he has previously offered money to have negative reviews removed. Based on our experience, we strongly advise anyone considering using this agency to exercise extreme caution. At a minimum, do not transfer funds without independent verification of the agent, the property, and the contractual terms.
