OJO CON LOS CONTRATOS DE ARRAS, CON ESA INMOBILIARIA HE PERDIDO 15.000 EUROS.

Good morning Cristina, indeed, in June 2021 you signed the earnest money agreement for an apartment that you ultimately decided not to buy. Therefore, you lost the earnest money you paid on the day of signing. This earnest money was given to the owners, not to us as clearly stated in the contract, and it was specified that you would forfeit it if you backed out of the purchase. Similarly, if the owners did back out, they had to return double the amount you paid. It's a shame you don't mention how hard we fought with the owners to get that money back, and that in the end, when we finally managed to get part of it back, you left the law firm without the €6,000 check they were willing to give you because you wanted the full €15,000, despite our insistence and our efforts to convince you to take it. I believe that in this case, we've done everything humanly possible to help you, and despite our insistence to the property owners, they were within their rights not to refund you anything since you were the one who breached the contract, not them. It was already quite difficult to get them to agree to return part of your money, and you refused. Similarly, when we sold you your house, if the buyers had backed out as you did, you would have been perfectly within your rights not to refund them anything. Best regards.
