This agency is a scam. Avoid at all costs. (PLEASE READ) before dealing with them. I was urgently looking for an apartment, and this agency showed us one that was in terrible condition: very dirty, a smelly and tiny fridge, broken cupboards, hair in the sink, and a TV covered in dust that didn’t even work. I don’t understand how an agency can show a property in this state without cleaning it first. Because I needed to move quickly, I agreed to take the apartment after they promised a “deep clean.” The agent then asked us to go to the HousinGo office immediately and pay a €1,500 reservation fee in cash, which was already a red flag. We returned the next morning and booked the apartment under the clear condition of paying one month’s deposit and one month of fianza. We paid in cash as required and signed the rental agreement. The next day, David, the director, called me (instead of emailing, so nothing was documented) to ask for our income statement. As soon as we sent it, he called back saying they now wanted two months’ deposit plus one month of fianza, which was never agreed upon and was not stated in the signed agreement. Changing conditions after signing is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I asked for the €1,500 to be returned, and he initially agreed, saying he would show us other apartments. We didn’t like any of them, and he said that was fine and that he would return the money. We agreed to meet the next day at 1pm to collect it. Instead, he messaged me on WhatsApp (again, no official email) saying he couldn’t meet and told us to come later. By then, we had found a much better, cleaner, and cheaper apartment with a different agency and asked again for our money back. At that point, David suddenly changed his position and refused to return the €1,500, claiming they were going back to the “initial agreement.” This is one of the most unprofessional agencies I have ever dealt with. They demand large amounts of cash, change terms after contracts are signed, avoid written communication, and refuse to return money even after agreeing to do so. Please learn from my experience and avoid this agency completely. I later checked Google reviews and saw many 1-star reviews describing very similar situations. I wish I had read them earlier. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
