During our stay in Tenerife we booked The Stone Apartment, Los Gigantes (heated pool), managed by Borza Holiday. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The apartment had an unpleasant smell when we arrived, and there were no instructions or information provided about how to use some of the appliances, so we had to figure everything out ourselves. Communication with the agency was also not very good. Basic things were missing in the apartment, such as air freshener in the toilet. Since the apartment is located on the ground floor, it was not possible to safely keep the windows open overnight, and there was no air conditioning, which made the stay uncomfortable. Another disappointing point was that the booking was made through Booking.com, but the agency somehow blocking reviews, which means we are unable to leave our own review there. Overall, we were not satisfied with the experience and would not recommend this agency or this property.

However, I would like to clarify that my review is based on a real experience related to the booking, and the company involved in managing the apartment was presented under the name “Borza Holidays.” At the same time, communication, contacts, and associated business activities appear to be directly linked to your company, including the same representatives Antonio. For this reason, it is difficult to separate these entities from a guest’s perspective, as they operate under the same brand identity and involve the same individuals. I also have supporting evidence confirming this connection. The purpose of my review is not to harm your business, but to share a genuine customer experience and ensure transparency for future guests. I believe that accountability is important, especially in situations where responsibility is being redirected. I respectfully stand by my review, as it reflects my actual experience. Our experience with this company was very disappointing and stressful. Upon arrival, we discovered that the sofa bed was already damaged. We documented the issue immediately and informed the host on the same day, providing photos as evidence. Despite acting responsibly and transparently from the very beginning, the issue was never properly resolved during our 14-day stay. Instead, after our stay ended, the host attempted to hold us responsible for the damage and requested an extremely high compensation (over €2000) for what appeared to be an old and worn piece of furniture. This was especially concerning given that the defect was reported within hours of check-in. A technician sent by the host attempted to fix the bed but actually caused further damage while trying to force it closed. Nevertheless, the responsibility was later shifted onto us. We also noticed that the apartment itself was not in the condition described in the listing — several elements were worn out, the shower was not properly cleaned, and some fixtures were damaged. After escalation, Airbnb reviewed the case and ultimately closed it without charging us, which speaks for itself. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend future guests to carefully document everything upon arrival and be cautious.
